Various projects in the educational field formed a substantial part of Lynskey’s turnover throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s. Due to the recent recession the majority of new build ceased and work was confined to refurbishment and maintenance. However, the company continues to carry out various projects for the Dublin VEC in Blanchardstown, Deansrath Clondalkin, as well as St. Patricks Drumcondra, U.C.G., U.C.D. and Trinity College. The works mainly consist of new classrooms, lecture theatres and laboratories as well as upgrades of capital plant.
