The company has extensive experience of pipework systems and materials. We have worked on steam installations, particularly in hospitals, pharmaceutical, food processing plants and laundries. Traditionally we have used gun barrel pipe for low-temperature hot water and chilled water projects. In more recent times we have also used press-fit systems such as Mapress and multilayer plastic pipe systems.

We have a full set of weld procedures and our fitters have attended training courses for the systems on which they are working. This is particularly important for fusion welded plastics such as HDPE and MDPE. The company is RGI certified for work on gas and our fitters are certified for both domestic and non-domestic installations.

Numerous fuel distribution systems have been installed for diesel supplies and these have involved single wall and double contained pipelines in both plastic and steel. We have installed vacuum systems and compressed air in Production facilities.



Ventilation installations at each end of the scale are one of our core services. Whether it is a simple toilet extract system in a school, a Tier 4 Data Centre, a Surgical Theatre or a multi-storey office block, we undertake numerous projects of this type each year. We are very experienced in coordination of complex ductwork arrangements and have devised efficient installation methods for fast track delivery to a very high standard. All of our installations are carried out in accordance with DW144 and or the relevant EN standards.

We have carried out VRF installations using both electric and gas fired heat pumps. Examples of developments where we have undertaken large scale multi-split systems would include: Eastpoint Business Park, West End Retail Park, Swift Square, Abbott Laboratories. Comms rooms, IDF Rooms and MDF Rooms for many financial institutions and information technology companies have been fitted out by us with close control units, CRAC units, simple Split units.



Over the last 5 years or so the company has been involved in energy conservation and energy savings projects. On the Stewarts Care project, we installed solar panels, condensing boilers and BMS control systems in over 30 buildings on the campus. This resulted in significant savings over the previous oil fired boiler arrangements. In UCD we have installed plate heat exchangers in a number of the large Energy Centres on campus to create a hydraulic separation from the district heating mains and reduce energy costs.

In the last year we have worked on and continue to work on a number of LEED projects. These contracts greatly reduce the impact on the environment during construction and result in buildings that are cheaper to run with no adverse impact on the comfort provided.



Although much of our work is carried out to designs from Consulting Engineers, there are occasions where we have undertaken design build contracts. We have an in-house team of design engineers with supporting CAD and Revit operators.

We carry Professional Indemnity Insurance to cover our design work.

Examples of Design Build projects would include healthcare projects for private hospitals, Data Centres, Commercial Office Developments and Energy Saving projects.

Our experienced Revit operators have fulfilled roles as lead services coordinator on BIM projects as well as generation of mechanical models for input to a federated model and subsequent clash detection.
