First established in 1964, Lynskey Engineering Ltd. (LEL) has earned a solid reputation for providing specialist commercial and industrial engineering services to the building industry. Over the years the company has worked on many prestigious projects involving complex steam, water, air and heating installations and has established an eminent maintenance division specialising in a full range of mechanical and electrical services.

Across all aspects of the business, the company has experience in both design and installation and is able to undertake complete management of any project from initial planning and estimation through to completion.

Accustomed to working with most major firms, LEL have become one of the most respected and experienced providers of building services in the country.

As well as working on projects relating to new buildings, LEL are specialists in providing building services for projects involving the restoration, renovation or alteration of existing buildings, including many of historic and architectural importance.

Alongside major engineering projects, the maintenance division offers a well established small works service which encompasses general maintenance and servicing of equipment such as gas and oil boilers, chillers, pumps and controls covering the full range of mechanical services and it’s associated electrical works. LEL personnel are continually retrained to ensure they are competent to implement up to the minute new methods to greatly improve plant efficiency resulting in substantial savings on running costs for many businesses.

Health & Safety

Lynskey Engineering Ltd recognise Health and Safety as a core business activity and, as such, have adopted a proactive approach to Health, Safety and Welfare within our organisation through the continual development, implementation and maintenance of our safety management system. We are accredited to Safe T Cert continuously since 2004 and have achieved ‘A’ Grading following independent audit in the previous nine years.

The Safe-T-Cert was developed jointly by the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) and the Construction Employers Federation (CEF) and was launched in October 2000. It takes account of ‘best practice’ guidelines of relevant national and international bodies including the ILO. Safe-T-Cert is a recognised safety management system under the Build Safe Initiative in Northern Ireland and the Construction Safety Partnership in the Republic of Ireland.

We have, on three occasions, entered submissions to the National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) All Ireland Safety Awards winning an award on each occasion including one in a prestigious category.

Lynskey Engineering have continuously achieved ISO Quality Management Accreditation since 1992. Over the intervening years Lynskey Engineering have progressively developed a Quality approach to all procedures and practices in the design,supply,installation,testing and commissioning of Mechanical Building Engineering Services in line with the evolution of the International Standard.
We operate an Integrated Management System and are certified to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental System
and ISO 45001:2018 Health & Safety Management System as well as Safe T Cert.
